Jen McCabe's first day on the stand, and Defense Attorney Alessi appears to be weaving a very confusing narrative when questioning the Cellebrite Expert.
Karen looked especially snarly today and seems very unstable. This trail is just too draining for me to watch during the day-I used to have CourtTV on whenever I had time to watch but I shut everything off once Julie Grant's show is over. I really appreciate your posts and Substack pieces so I can keep up. Thank you so much for doing this. I don't know you do it! And I'll say that every day until this circus is over!
Julie Grant is amazing. Thank God for her voice. I turn everything off after that too. It’s frustrating to watch how awful the public has been to John’s friends and family.
And most of the coverage acting like it's a Columbo episode is sickening to me. The idea of creating "infotainment" out of a case like this-with all the harassment and shady/scary/disturbing behaviors-makes me feel like they are all complicit in the damage done to the O'Keefe family and loved ones. Vinnie Politan is on the top of that list for me. Some of the others just seem uninformed. UGH.
Exactly. I’ve been very disappointed in how Vinnie covered this case. It’s like people’s tragedies become a playground for the media to run around on. What a weird world we live in.
Yup. It’s strange how so many people’s intentions and beliefs are skewed by social media and mob mentality. Vinnie started losing me from when he had Nick Rocco on and called him a “Karen Read insider”…??? And what does that have to do with law and order/justice?? That’s it in a nutshell in my book. And it’s been downhill from there for many like him. They fell for it for clicks and money. Thanks again Tuesday. What you do matters. 🤗
I made the mistake of watching one of our local news shows, and after reading your review of the day, it feels biased. They seem to be looking for an expert to state how the prosecution is not making its case.

I thought that very thing this morning.
Poor Jen - and smug KR just sitting there, cold as ice. Ergh - she infuriates me.
Thank you, as always for your time and dedication! x
SO smug… and zero expressions of sadness from Karen.
